REDHOOK

RedHook haben bereits die Bühnen von Festivals wie dem Download (UK), Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park (GER) und Rock For People (CZ) geentert und Bands wie Stand Atlantic, Three Days Grace und The Faim supportet. Bei ihrem letzten Besuch im Oktober 2024 spielten sie zusammen mit Dream State (UK) vor ausverkauftem Haus, was RedHook einen guten Eindruck davon vermittelte, wie sehr ihre Musik in der nördlichen Hemisphäre auf Gegenliebe stößt. Sängerin Emmy Mack dazu: „I don’t think we’ll ever get used to the feeling of going to the other side of the world and seeing a room full of people singing our songs back to us. We’re excited AF to finally be putting our big boy pants on and coming back to give fans in the UK and EU their first full RedHook live show experience and celebrate the new album with our first ever headline shows! It’s about time!! We can’t wait to make some bad decisions with you all.” 

RedHooks zweites Album „Mutation“ wurde im November 2024 veröffentlicht und landete sofort auf Platz 1 der australischen AIR-Charts und in einschlägigen Playlists, sowie auf dem Cover von u.a. „All New Rock“, „New Nu“, „Rock Out.“, „Homegrown + Heavy“ auf Spotify und „Breakthrough Rock“ und „#alt“ von Amazon Music.

Produziert von Stevie Knight (Stand Atlantic), mit Produktionsassistenz von RedHooks eigenem Craig Wilkinson und abgemischt von James Paul Wisner (Underoath, Paramore), ist „Mutation“ ein kühnes, genreübergreifendes zweites Album, mit lyrischer Ehrlichkeit, ambitionierter Klangproduktion und ansteckend einprägsamem und unverblümtem Songwriting. Mit Einflüssen, die von Alt-Pop, Future Bass und Hip-Hop bis hin zu Metal, Punk und Post-Hardcore reichen, scheuen sich RedHook nicht davor, ganz sie selbst zu sein. Sie kombinieren Synthesizer, Bläser, schwere Gitarren, Samples und dynamische Drums zu einem berauschenden 11-Track-Cocktail.

„Mutation“ enthält außerdem Beiträge von Alpha Wolf (AU), Vana (NZ) und Holding Absence (UK), die bereits bei der vorherigen Single, der Pop-Metalcore-Hymne „Dr. Frankenstein“, mitgewirkt haben.
